Subscription Terms
Responsibilities
Élite Zone is not liable for any injuries or damages of any kind resulting from the use of its equipment, participation in training sessions, and/or treatments provided by Élite Zone.
Our staff provide advice to the best of their knowledge but assume no direct or indirect liability. The consumer accepts full responsibility for any injuries or damages and hereby releases Élite Zone from any current or future lawsuits, claims, demands, or actions arising from training sessions and/or treatments provided by Élite Zone. Élite Zone is not responsible for lost or stolen items, illnesses, or accidents occurring on its premises.
Élite Zone reserves the right to terminate any contract with a consumer who fails to comply with Élite Zone’s rules and values. Refunds will be issued only as required by law (see the statement required by the Consumer Protection Act for contracts with health studios).
Opening hours and schedules may be changed without prior notice. Any changes will be posted on our website: elitezone.ca/contact.
In the event of relocation due to a lease termination, Élite Zone commits to moving within a 25 km radius.
Specific Terms for Power Plate® Sessions
Consumers cannot request a specific trainer for the duration of their subscription. All sessions are supervised by one of Élite Zone’s trainers (private or semi-private), based on availability. Private sessions cannot be requested.
A 2-week grace period will be applied to all “unlimited” Power Plate® contracts to cover our annual 2-week Christmas break. An additional 2-week extension may be granted for medical reasons with proper documentation (signed medical note).
Attendance
Cancellations for Power Plate® or infrared therapy sessions require at least 8 hours’ notice. Otherwise, a $15 fee will apply for cancellations made less than 8 hours in advance, after 3 warnings. This applies to all Power Plate® and infrared therapy packages. Appointments are scheduled within the first or last 30 minutes of each hour. Late arrivals will result in a shortened session to respect the schedule.
Sessions must be used in accordance with the terms and within the timeframes specified in the contract.
Payments
An administrative fee of $25 will be charged for each dishonored payment or postdated payment, in addition to any other fees incurred by Élite Zone.
Any overdue amounts under this contract will accrue interest at an annual rate of 24% (2% monthly), starting from the due date. These amounts may be claimed in court without prior notice.
For consumers paying in multiple installments by credit card, all payments will automatically be charged to the designated card according to the schedule outlined in the “Pre-Authorized Payment Authorization” section.
No refunds will be issued except as required by law (see the statement required by the Consumer Protection Act for contracts with health studios).

Consumers cannot cancel a successive performance service contract with a health studio merchant at any time. The law allows cancellation only in two cases:
- The consumer may cancel the contract at their discretion, without fees or penalties, before the merchant begins providing access to the equipment and services;
- The consumer may also cancel the contract at their discretion within a period equal to 1/10 of the contract duration, starting from when the merchant makes their services available. In this case, the merchant cannot charge more than 1/10 of the total contract price.
